ABOUT

Bay Street Brass performs lively and energetic music that is perfect for dancing, with a focus on Traditional Jazz and contemporary New Orleans Brass Band styles, as well as a touch of Ska and other genres.

We would love to:

• Play at your party, wedding, funeral, corporate function, or just about anything, and/or

• See you at one of our gigs or when we are busking.

We are based in Port Melbourne, VIC, Australia, and formed the band in June 2022.

Join Bay Street Brass

​We rehearse every first and third Wednesday of the month from 6:15-8:00 pm in Port Melbourne. We are conveniently located near public transportation (tram and bus) and there is ample, free parking. We pride ourselves on being friendly and supportive, and welcome musicians of all ages and skill levels to join us.

We would love to add bari sax and melodica. We would also love to add more: low brass, clarinets, and trombones.
